Coldplay's first single for Parlophone would be Shiver, which reached number 35 in the singles chart. The NME said about Shiver: "Shiver stamps out their ambitious intent and marks them out as future stars." What followed was a support slot with Catatonia, a support slot on tour with Muse and a headlining tour of their own in the summer of 2000. Having finished their tour, they went on to play the second stage at Glastonbury 2000, and they will go on to play T in the Park as well as the MTV stage at the V2000 festival. |
